The moment of amazement passed, the time of grief begun for Guinea inconsolable in its mourning, I bow, piously, before the mortal remains of the late, Hadja Djènè Condé, née Kaba, former First Lady of the Republic , also sympathize with the deep pain of the bereaved family. I join in the vibrant tributes paid in Guinea and around the world to the deceased, Lady of heart and of great dignity, close to people, passionate about humanitarian causes.
My sincere condolences to all the people who, like me, have known and loved the good soul, today, torn from our affection.
I have a moved and affectionate thought for her illustrious husband, President Alpha Condé, whose infinite sadness can be understood in this particularly trying circumstance, who does not, however, lack the resources to overcome this umpteenth ordeal in his life, far from to be a long calm river.
