China – A man in China immediately asked for a divorce after his wife removed make-up on the first night of their marriage. The man surnamed Cao was not happy when he found out his wife’s real face.

This story begins when Cao met his partner, Trang through social media intermediaries. Cao was then 30 years old, while Trang was 47 years old.
Even though Trang was 17 years older than him, he didn’t stop Cao from dating him. When they first met, Trang looked so beautiful with her fashionable make-up and clothes.
The make up clearly made Trang look much younger than her actual age. From the first meeting Cao was immediately attracted because he saw Trang who was beautiful, affectionate, confident and mature. Their family backgrounds are quite similar which is also the reason their relationship is getting serious.
Until the time came for Cao to decide to propose to Trang. Cao and Trang’s wedding was then held in a simple way in their hometown.
Their relationship also had the support of those around them, so that at that time people thought that Cao and Trang were husband and wife.
Cao Sues for Divorce on the First Night
Such a perfect story finally changed instantly overnight, to be precise on the first night of their marriage. Cao, who initially felt so happy, was astonished when he saw his wife removing her make-up.
Cao was so shocked when he saw his wife’s real face without using any makeup at all. It turned out that every time he met Cao, Trang always put on makeup and dressed carefully.
Trang’s skill in doing her makeup also seems to have succeeded in making Cao not recognize her real face. This shock made Cao feel cheated so that on the wedding night Cao immediately asked for a divorce and kicked his wife out of the house.
Trang herself tried to explain to her husband that it was because she just wanted to look as beautiful as other women and make a good impression on Cao. Feeling frustrated because of her husband’s attitude, Trang then gave Cao 2 choices.
First, the two will legally register their marriage and continue to live together. The two couples will divorce, but Cao must pay compensation to Trang of 200,000 yuan or around Rp.434 million.
Feeling that he was a victim and judging that Trang’s demands were unreasonable, Cao also asked for legal assistance to settle it. Unfortunately it is not explained further whether the couple eventually divorced or not.
