Been going for a while now rumors from multiple insiders that Atlus, in addition to developing the 6th part, is working on a remake of the popular JRPG. The remake will allegedly have “Persona 5-like graphics and a variety of improvements.”
And today, the possible first shots from this remake appeared on the network. Why possible? Because while it’s fairly well-made for fan work, it has a few problems – for example, the archery animation is pretty crooked and the hands are pretty clumsy.
In general, we can only wait for official news and perhaps the announcement of this remake will take place today, as Atlus promised “exciting news” on April 9th.
First hitting stores in 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Persona 3 lets players control a high school student who joins a team of students tasked with investigating the Dark Hour. During the Dark Hour, players battle the Shadows, monsters that feed on the minds of humans, in a large tower known as Tartarus. To combat these beings, a manifestation of the inner self of a person, known as a “Persona”, can be invoked.
