UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DISWAY.ID — Recent studies have shown satisfactory results from research on a Covid vaccine using nasal sprays.
This research was conducted at the Institute of Virology at the Freie Universität Berlin in Germany.
His research shows that the immune response will be stronger than using the two currently available vaccines.

This significant result was through experiments using hamsters as the object of the experiment.
The researchers used Syrian hamsters for testing their vaccine.
The reason for choosing hamsters over other animals is because these animals are not genetically modified and are susceptible to SARS-COV-2 infection, including spreading to fellow hamsters.
And the infection in Syrian hamsters resembles many of the key features of COVID-19 in humans.

This makes the hamster an ideal model for studying COVID-19 vaccines and therapies.
The study was published in the journal Nature Microbiology last Monday.
“We found that live attenuated vaccines prevent viral replication – this could be a turning point in controlling transmission of SARS-CoV-2,” said the study’s lead author, Dr. Jakob Trimpert as reported by Fox News.
The nasal (nasal) COVID vaccine that is being tested is a live attenuated vaccine, which means it contains a live form of the coronavirus but is weaker.
