Yes, it is a matter of price. But. 7800X3D is great for games. 7950X3D is great for both games and work. 7900X3D seems to me to be such an empty fence post. It will probably find customers, but they will have to lower the price. Because. The 7800X3D is better for games (the 7900X3D only has 6 cores with V-Cache), which is also cheaper, and the 7950X3D is better for work, which is not that much more expensive. Or for the same price straight 7950X. I understand that they used a partially defective CCD on the 7900X3D, but since the V-Cache is only on one CCD, the processor from the above is somewhat meaningless.
