The award-winning actor Ingvar Hirdwall has died, aged 88.
The Swedish actor Ingvar Hirdwall has died, reports the news agency TT. He lived to be 88 years old.
– The actor Ingvar Hirdwall fell asleep at home on Maundy Thursday. He lived to be 88 years old. He is remembered by family, friends and colleagues, says his agent to TT, reproduced by Aftonbladet.
Hirdwall has had a long career as an actor in films, series and on the theater stage.
Many people probably know him as the neighbor with a collar in “Beck”, which he was in from 1997 to 2023.
He is also known from the film “Men who hate women”.
In 2003, he was awarded a prize for best supporting actor in the film “Daybreak”, and he received the Swedish Academy’s theater prize in 2004, writes Aftonbladet.
Ingvar Hirdwall was married to Marinka Lindström.
