Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Israeli army announced the end of its military operations in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, in response to the missile strikes that Israel was subjected to over the past two days.
An Israeli army official told CNN that Israel’s operations in Gaza and Lebanon have ended as long as no new rockets are launched.
Israel launched a strike on the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening, targeting Hamas sites and tunnels.
Israel also targeted sites in southern Lebanon, at dawn on Friday, which were said to be used to launch rockets into Israeli territory.
