QOOL SHARKS Würzburg – Bender Baskets Grünberg

After the QOOL SHARKS finished the main round of the TOYOTA 2. DBBL Süd as first in the table, they will welcome the Bender Baskets Günberg next Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the local Fegggrube.
The baskets from Grünberg took eighth place in the northern group with 10 wins and 12 defeats. However, the guests from Hesse should not be underestimated. American Olivia Nash is not only the third-best thrower in the North Group, but also the best rebounder of the entire season. With the 28-year-old Isabell Meinhart, an excellent all-rounder plays in the team from Grünberg. The sister duo Cora and Nina Horvath lead the game excellently.
For coach Janet Fowler-Michel’s team it is important to continue the good performance from the last game against MTV Stuttgart. Good defense and nice team play in attack inspired the numerous spectators in the Fegggrube.
The second leg will take place in Grünberg on Easter Monday. The results of the two games are added up. The winner moves into the next round for promotion to the 1st DBBL.
