NCP not in support of JPC probe into Adani Group: Sharad Pawar
The Hindenburg Report was blown out of proportion

Mumbai. Former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi has been continuously attacking Gautam Adani. Some other opposition leaders also kept besieging the government regarding Adani, but now NCP leader Sharad Pawar, who was a part of the Mahavikas Aghadi with the Congress, has distanced himself from the Congress. He said on the Hindenburg controversy that Adani is being targeted. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has not supported the demand for JPC inquiry in the case of Adani Group.

Welcoming the committee formed by the Supreme Court in an interview given to a news channel, he said that it is being investigated, so there is more hope that the truth will come out. Former Union Minister Sharad Pawar has said that JPC investigation is of no importance after the court’s decision. After this statement, there has been a rift in the opposition unity. NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, supporting Gautam Adani, said that an industrial group was targeted. Not only this, Pawar also said that the demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry in this matter is futile.

Congress told Sharad Pawar’s personal opinion
In a conversation with a TV news channel, he said that Hindenburg’s report was blown out of proportion and the matter should be investigated by the Supreme Court Committee only. After this statement of Sharad Pawar, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has said that this may be his (Sharad Pawar) own views. He said, ’19 opposition parties are united in this matter. We all consider this whole matter very serious. 20 opposition parties including NCP are together against BJP.

Hindenburg’s report raised questions
In fact, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had said in an interview to NDTV regarding the issue of Adani group that why so much importance is being given to the Hindenburg report? We have never heard of them, what is their background?
