DURBAN- Represented by the Ben Sékou Sylla School Complex in Coyah, Guinea is in the semi-finals of the first edition of the CAF School Football Championship which has been taking place in Durban (South Africa) since April 05, 2023.
Winner (2-0) against Beninese CEG Sainte Rita and (1-0) ahead of Salima Secondary School of Malawi, the Guinean representative played this Friday, April 7, 2023 two games with different results.
In the first match, the young Guineans tied (2-2) with Clapham High School from South Africa. Opposed to CEM Belaouche Mouhend Oulhadji of Algeria for its fourth match, Guinea made a real demonstration by winning with a score (0-12).
With ten points on the clock, Guinea is in the semi-finals of this first edition of the CAF School Football Championship reserved for young participants aged 12 to 15. To participate in this continental competition, Guinea won the UFOA Zone A qualifying tournament for the African Football Confederation School Football Championship played in Cape Verde at the end of 2022.
