The Minister of Health of Entre Ríos, Sonia Velázquez met with representatives of the Entre Ríos Medical Federation (Femer) to put on the agenda the realignments of the ranks by section that, after the enactment of Law 11,038, reaches some 820 medical professionals, approximately.
Within the framework of the effective application of Law 11,038, which created 1,095 positions for health professionals after being promulgated in December 2022 by Governor Gustavo Bordet, the Minister of Health of Entre Ríos, Sonia Velázquez, called on the Federation Médica de Entre Ríos (Femer) to inform their representatives about the pass, nominalized, to the interim position of those who were in a situation of extraordinary substitutions or hired for many years.
In this way, the Entre Ríos Executive Branch regularized and incorporated into the permanent staff the agents of the Professional Rank of the Professional Health Care Career who provide services with different contractual modalities in establishments dependent on the Ministry of Health.
Minister Velázquez stressed that the call to the body was expressly for the purpose of sharing the payroll by virtue of forming the final list and, in this way, “crowning the progress we have made.”
Regarding the hourly load, Velázquez specified that it is a regulatory framework tending to establish an order that will result in the quality of comprehensive health care.
For his part, the president of Femer, Fernando Vázquez Vuelta, highlighted the importance of the meeting that, within the framework of Law 11,038 that formalized the creation of 1,095 positions in the Ministry of Health, regularizes some 820 medical professionals. In this regard, he assessed: “This gives the doctor and health professional a stability that had been claimed for a long time.”
Likewise, he thanked the management of the head of the health portfolio and added that another of the axes addressed was the regularization of the workload that must be completed by the doctor in the public sphere, a fairly advanced topic that provides for 18 hours a week.
It should be noted that a work group was previously formed, made up of trade union entities, the Association of University Professional Entities of Entre Ríos and the professional associations that comprise it.
The director of Human Resources, Cristian Fontana, and, for the federation, participated in the audience: the secretary of Minutes and Correspondence, Lautaro Torriani; the Secretary of Social Action, Rodolfo Nery, and the Secretary of the Treasury, Roberto Balbarrey.
