With regard to loans, outstandings increased by +7% to 36.8 billion, after a year 2021 which already had a similar growth rate. In terms of specialized markets and the corporate division, Lionel Raymond recalled: “In a context of war in Ukraine, but also of recruitment problems, rising costs of raw materials and energy, we were able to support companies, which enabled us in particular to post gains in equipment credit market. We have also supported them through new expertise: the ability to coordinate everything related to extra-financial matters for them, in particular ESG, environmental, societal and governance criteria.”. To date, this new offer has already been the subject of the first six mandates with ETIs. And BP Aura does not intend to stop there, since it aims to become the reference consulting partner for its clients in terms of sustainable finance. At the end of the presentation, Daniel Karyotis shared his projection for the current year: “The policy of the European Central Bank, which suddenly raises rates to fight inflation, with, at the same time, a liquidity withdrawal effect, means that today we have a financial system that is under pressure. It will therefore be necessary to grit your teeth a little to maintain growth, even weak. But I am of a positive nature, so I believe in it. »
