The survey by the Insurance and Social Security Supervisory Authority (ACAPS) on access to insurance services and their use among the Moroccan population as well as among VSEs detailed the products that arouse the most interest of respondents and those who are best known.
At the top of the products with the most notoriety is car insurance, which is cited by 83% of respondents, even if they do not necessarily benefit from it. Car insurance is thus ahead of retirement savings (54%), home insurance (50%), complementary health insurance with a private insurance and reinsurance company (43%), death insurance temporary (41%), while less than 30% of respondents mentioned other insurance products.
According to ACAPS, the interest of individuals in different insurance products varies considerably from one product to another. Thus, the products that arouse the most interest among respondents are agricultural insurance (71%), retirement savings (63%) and health insurance (56%), underlines ACAPS. On the other hand, the individuals surveyed show little interest in insurance relating to the practice of sports and leisure activities, borrower death insurance and assistance (less than 40%).
