The “Spartan” landed at Varna airport at 8:10 a.m. and returned to Sofia at 12:43 p.m., having successfully completed the task of providing air transport for the medics.
Two medical teams from the Medical Academy and “Lozenets” UMBAL were transported on the Sofia – Varna – Sofia route for a donor situation in the “Sveta Marina” UMBAL in Varna.
The crew that flew the flight was composed of: commander lieutenant colonel Plamen Donchev, deputy commander senior lieutenant Kaloyan Atanasov, flight engineer captain Nikolay Mihailov.
This is another successfully completed aeromedical task by the Air Force in timely provision of air transport, the Ministry of Defense wrote.
