“The Adirondack: The Panoramic Train Journey Between New York and Montreal Returns After Three Years”

Finally, after being out of service for three years, in April 2023 the Adirondack, the panoramic train between New York and Montreal, returned on a trip that unites both destinations in a journey that lasts 10 hours, with incredible views and the combination of style from the city that never sleeps with the European from the city of Canada.

The Northbound New York to Montreal Scenic Train departs from New York Penn Station at 8:41 AM, arriving at the Gare Centrale/Central de Canada station in Montreal at 8:16 PM.

Travelers and visitors can expect the same amenities aboard the Adirondack train as in most other trains of Amtrakincluding free Wi-Fi, the freedom to use phones and electronic devices at all times (no “airplane mode”), the ability to travel with small pets within the United States, a cafeteria car, large, roomy seats with plenty of room for the legs and without central seat.

What to see on the New York and Montreal scenic train?

The Adirondack runs from New York through the lush Hudson Valley wine country to Montreal. To the north, departure from Manhattan is scheduled for the morning and arrival in Montreal in the evening.

On the way you can stop in the Lake Champlain region, this lake that borders the states of New York and Vermont and enters 10 kilometers into Quebec.
