Jakarta –
Integration services IndiHome and Telkomsel will be released in August 2023. This was confirmed directly by the boss of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom).
“Later on June 1, all agreements will be completed, that’s all, including the license. Legally, Telkomsel has legally operated IndiHome on July 1. The commercial will be a month later in August, maybe not the 1st, pulling the 17th,” said Ririek Adriansyah, Director Utama Telkom when met at his office, Thursday (6/4/2023).
Later there will be a new service resulting from the integration of IndiHome and Telkomsel. The name of the new service will be announced at launch in August.
“There will be a new product name resulting from FMC (Fix Mobile Convergence). IndiHome itself still exists, Telkomsel also exists, let’s call this new service X,” said Ririek, keeping it secret.
On this occasion, Telkom’s boss also ensured that during the IndiHome and Telkomsel integration process there would be no service disruptions. Because the process is carried out smoothly.
“Services that have moved seamlessly, there will be no interruptions. There will be no interruption first, the service will continue to run,” said Ririek.
With the integration of IndiHome and Telkomsel, it will provide a number of benefits. Ririek gave an example so far there are users who work from home who subscribe to IndiHome as well as Orbit for backups.
Later prepared a service that contains both. This will save on customer costs.
“If IndiHome doesn’t have any problems, the Orbit will expire. If it’s bundled, of course there won’t be an expiration. The price may be a bit premium, but it’s not as expensive as if you subscribed to each one,” said the man who was born in Yogyakarta.
Another example of convenience in paying bills. With the integration of IndiHome and Telkomsel, it will make it even easier for customers.
“If all this time the billing has been different, it will only be once. There are many benefits that customers can feel,” concluded Ririek.
