Philip Morris Egypt has raised the prices of cigarettes and tobacco products that it sells in the local market, starting tomorrow, between two and six pounds per package, depending on its type, according to Ibrahim Imbaby, head of the Tobacco Division at the Federation of Industries, to Masrawy.
The new prices will be applied starting tomorrow, Thursday.
Imbaby attributed the price increase to the company’s high production costs, which prompted them to increase the prices of their products.
Masrawy publishes the new prices of the company after the increase, and the value of the increase in each type is as follows:
– Merit of all kinds, at 59 pounds for the consumer, with an increase of 7 pounds.
– Marlboro Red at 54 pounds for the consumer, an increase of 6 pounds.
– Marlboro Gold at 54 pounds for the consumer, an increase of 6 pounds.
– Marlboro Craft of all kinds, at 44 pounds for the consumer, with an increase of 6 pounds.
– L&M Red at 39 pounds for the consumer, an increase of 4 pounds.
– L&M Blue at 39 pounds for the consumer, an increase of 4 pounds.
– L&M Silver at 39 pounds for the consumer, an increase of 4 pounds.
– LNM Forward at 39 pounds for the consumer, an increase of 4 pounds.

Hits of all kinds, at a price of 48 pounds for the consumer, with an increase of 8 pounds.
