The sudden death of the actor Hristo Zhivkov became another tragedy with a participant in the fatal season of “VIP Brother”
The edition of “VIP Brother” from 2016, which ended with the victory of journalist Miglena Angelova, will remain in history with the terrifying probation that hangs over the participants. A third participant in the show died without time – the actor Hristo Zhivkov, who died on Saturday.
Just a few months after the end of the show, Roro Kavaldjiev, the cute guy, left. Only 40 years old, he was struck down by a mysterious infection caught on the island of Bali and died at the VMA within hours.
Last year, the most famous Bulgarian “little man” – Georgi Sofkin – passed away. The worldly lion died in misery, supporting himself in the last years of his life by begging and drinking away what little means he had left.
Hristo Zhivkov left us that day only at the age of 48, after less than a year of fighting an insidious cancer. The actor died literally days before he started shooting the second part of “The Passion of the Christ” by Mel Gibson, with whom he already had a contract.
A bunch of other participants also have an eerie fate, led by the TV presenter Desi Tsoneva, who tragically lost her father – Mitko Tsonev, who died at the age of 56, after a severe stroke.
Two other stars – Zhana Bergendorff and Yavor Baharov, also had a lot of trouble after their participation in the Brother, albeit through their own fault. Arrests for drugs, scandals and career collapse ruined the two young hopes of the native show business, writes Hotarena.net. Zahari Baharov’s brother was caught driving under the influence of drugs just a few days ago and is probably facing an effective sentence and several years behind bars.
Even the winner, Miglena Angelova, totally disappeared from the air, and from one of the most recognizable faces in her native show business, today she is a quiet housewife and a premature retiree, although she is only 57.
The nightmare did not pass by the team of the transmission. The presenter Alex Sarchadzhieva became a young widow in 2019 after her daughter’s father, the great actor Ivan Laskin, fell victim to the demon of alcohol.
