A ship docked at the shipyard caught fire about an hour ago. This is the reason why half the city was gassed, Flagman.bg learned. Until a few minutes ago, the suffocating smoke drifted towards the “Vazrazhdane” residential complex and the center.
Our reader has just sent us photos and a video from the main Burgas-Sozopol road, which show that the wind has already turned the direction of the fire – towards the “Meden Rudnik” railway station.
Flagman.bg learned that the fire was on a ship that is currently being repaired at the factory.
Two fire engines have been sent to the scene and are trying to deal with the flames. However, this is one of the worst fires, firefighters say.
In previous cases, they have spent more than 15 hours fighting the fire because there are many flammable objects in the ships.
