The Geislingen police checked a 33-year-old on an e-scooter on Schubartstrasse around 5:30 p.m. The man had dilated pupils, fluttering eyelids and his reactions seemed to be greatly slowed down. The police therefore suspected that the 33-year-old was under the influence of drugs. A drug test confirmed this assumption. She took the man to a hospital. A doctor took his blood there. In addition, the police found that the entry into Germany and the stay of the 33-year-old were illegal. The man was not resident in Germany. He is facing several ads.
The police inform: Alcohol and drugs reduce the ability to concentrate, coordinate and react and change one’s own perception. In connection with driving a vehicle, this creates a considerable risk of accidents. Don’t underestimate this effect when you’re out and about by bike or e-scooter. You also risk a high fine or a fine and also a driving ban on the two-wheeler.
