Until this April 17, the I Trujillo 2023 Craft Fair will be held in the El Recreo square of our city, organized by the Provincial Municipality of Trujillo with the participation of artisans and 26 stands where you can find samples of art and technique in hand-made objects. hand, in a traditional way.
This expo-sale was inaugurated yesterday and can be visited from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm by people interested in supporting our artisans who make quality, useful, decorative, aesthetic products, innovative designs and for personal use.
The fair is carried out through the Management of Local Economic Development and the Deputy Management of Tourism of the MPT, as part of its program for this year. There you can find different works in leather, wood, fish scales, fabrics, silver filigree, among others.
The deputy manager of Tourism, Paola Revilla Zevallos, invited the general population to visit the fair and support artisans from different parts of our province, acquiring their work.
The inaugural program included an artistic presentation by Jorge Narváez, playing an Andean ocarina, a wind musical instrument that produces a very pleasant sound and found in ceramics from our ancestors generally made of clay, small in size, oval in shape and slightly elongated.
Samuel Medina, one of the artisans participating in the fair, has miniature dining room sets made of mahogany wood and seats with Italian silk gobelin on display; also various ornaments for homes, chess boards that at the same time are small tables to store various things.
