In your new episode of “My Health in Ramadan” program, Dr. Ahmed Aloush introduces cumulative sugar, which is one of the most important things that can be measured to know the course of the disease inside the body of patients and even healthy people.

Dr. Aloush, a specialist in diabetes, endocrinology and nutrition, says that it is not enough to rely on the usual measurement by acupuncture at home, but the cumulative sugar rate must be measured periodically, specifying the minimum and maximum period for that.

Cumulative sugar analysis or hemoglobin test or glycated hemoglobin (A1C) – (HbA1C) as it is scientifically called, is a blood test that shows the average glucose or blood sugar level, specifically over the past two or three months, and it has been linked to this period of time because glucose sticks to hemoglobin and is A red blood cell protein that normally lives for about three months.
