Roméo Lavia was allowed to make his debut with the Red Devils last month. In England he has been flying high for a whole season, which is quite impressive for a 19-year-old at the red lantern of the Premier League: Southampton.
After a season full of great performances, the former Anderlecht super talent can count on the interest of many English top clubs. He will reportedly leave the Saints if they are relegated, which seems almost inevitable. Anfield Edition reports that Liverpool would like to drive in the young midfielder this summer.
TalkSPORT believes he knows that Chelsea has also selected him as a top target. The young Devil made the switch from Manchester City to Southampton this summer and his contract states that the de Bruyne team has a buyback clause of 43 million euros. So they seem to have the best credentials.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that it will not be as easy as it seems for City to bring Lavia back this summer. The buyback clause could not be lifted until 2024. Chelsea, Liverpool, City and also Arsenal and United can therefore fight a real transfer battle for the young Devil this summer.
