10 years. This year, the city is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its cycling challenge. Although it joined the national edition of May by bike* two years ago, it still leads the event on its territory. For this very special edition, it will offer participants (individuals, associations, schools, companies, etc.) gathered in teams who drive every day, on walks or on sporting outings, some nice surprises. If you are registered for the Challenge, you could win by taking part in contests, tickets to the parks of the Metropolis, the museums of the C’Art network, a Beautiful Outing** or a guided tour of the Stadium (Villeneuve d’ Ascq). Team captains will also receive prizes to challenge their participants.
Registrations, instructions
For the event, all bicycles are authorized, from the V’lille to the tandem, from the electric bicycle to the scooter…

And if it rolled every day
And if, even after May, we choose to cycle…because the journey is short, it’s convenient or faster or both, good for our health and good for the planet. To help us do this, the MEL is accelerating the development of its cycling network. 2022 review? 41km***.
