Bangladeshi contestant secures 1st place in Dubai International Holy Quran Award- reported by Sirajlive.com.

Dubai | The winners of the 26th session of the Dubai International Holy Quran Competition have been announced. Salih Ahmed from Bangladesh has won the first place. The second place went to Abbas Hadi Umar from Ethiopia and the third place went to Khalid Sulaiman Saleh Al Barakani from Saudi Arabia.

Nooruddin (Cameroon), Hadi Maulana (Indonesia), Abdul Alim Abdurrahim Mohammed Haji (Kenya), Mohammed Haj Asad (Syria), Mohammed Abdu Ahmed Qasim (Yemen), Abdul Aziz bin Noor Nasran (Brunei) and Hamza Mustaq (Morocco) Reached the top ten positions.

The former president of Al-Azhar University, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Umar Hashim was also felicitated at the closing ceremony at Expo City yesterday. Dr. Umar Hashim’s son accepted the award on his behalf.
