LTFRB ensures smooth travel during Holy Week with enforcers deployed and Special Permits processed for 743 bus units. LTO-NCR West deploys more than 200 personnel for “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos” and to enforce traffic laws.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region West (LTO-NCR West) have both deployed personnel to ensure smooth and efficient transportation for the Holy Week break. The LTFRB has processed Special Permits for 743 bus units to ensure enough public utility buses (PUBs) for passengers going to the provinces, and the LTO-NCR West has deployed over 200 personnel to implement “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Oplan Semana Santa and Summer Vacation 2023,” enforcing Republic Act 4136 and other special laws. The LTO-NCR West personnel cover the cities of Manila, Pasay, Makati, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Muntinlupa, and Las Piñas, and will be directed to submit all confiscated items together with the Individual Apprehension Report to the Operations Division within 24 hours from the date of apprehension or confiscation. The goal of both agencies is to provide convenient, safe, and reliable travel and ensure the safety of the riding public and motorists.
