Flying with children is not easy. But mothers instead let his son act wild on the plane. As a result, he was hit by another passenger.
An unnamed female passenger confided in the Reddit forum about the unpleasant experience she had while boarding the plane.
The passenger said that when the incident occurred, he was flying from Dallas to Los Angeles on business. Meanwhile beside him, sat down mothers have one child
“I am sitting next to the mother, she is probably in her late 20s. She is carrying her child who is around 3-4 years old,” the passenger wrote, as quoted by News Australia, Tuesday (4/3/2023).
The passenger sat in the aisle seat, while the child sat in the middle and mothers was sitting on the window seat.
20 minutes after the plane took off, then the ‘nightmare’ happened. The boy started acting up by getting up on his seat and jumping up and down screaming the whole flight.
“Meanwhile, the mother was playing on her cellphone all the time. I had tried to make eye contact with the mother to let her know that her child was behaving badly, but she refused and kept looking at her cellphone,” said the passenger in frustration.
The boy’s wild behavior lasted for about 10 minutes. But as it turns out, he’s showing no signs of stopping his act. Finally, the passenger had the courage to confront the child’s mother.
“I poked her shoulder and said she should be watching her child and told her to sit in a chair. But the mothers looked at me sarcastically and told me to mind my own business,” said the passenger.
Reddit users who read the story were immediately busy issuing comments and grumbling. They were annoyed with the behavior of the boy and his mother who were ignorant of ducks.
“I really don’t sympathize with parents who don’t educate their children and act like a victim when someone is disturbed by their child’s screams,” replied one Reddit user.
“I have 2 children and often travel with them. I always bring entertainment for them so they don’t disturb other passengers, instead of being absorbed in their cellphones,” said another.
