Suspected Thieves Assault Couple with Blades and Steal Shoes in Manhattan

The New York police are looking for a group of suspected thieves who, using bladed weapons, assaulted a couple and even took their shoes off in Manhattan.

The events occurred near the Penn Station subway station at Seventh Avenue and 34th Street.

According to the police, two women and 4 men assaulted a man and a woman.

The suspects threatened them with a razor and a knife, in addition to beating them to take their belongings.

The men, who wore ski masks and masks to cover their faces, stripped the man of his shoes, clothing and cell phone.

The woman resisted the assault and was beaten several times, however they could not remove her belongings.

The alleged thieves fled using the subway.

Eight people, most of them teenagers, were arrested after two searches in which they seized drugs, weapons and cash. During the search of the house, approximately 1,500 fake Percocet pills were found that were mixed with fentanyl. Two weapons, a revolver and an assault rifle, were also seized, as well as cash and other small amounts of narcotics.

As well as Tiffany Dawn Sanson, 39, who had three outstanding warrants for her arrest. All were charged with possession of a controlled substance and were booked into the Guadalupe County Jail.

Following this search, officers investigated a second home in the 400 block of Pebre Creek Run, where approximately 5,000 fake Percocet pills mixed with fentanyl were seized, as well as a large amount of THC edibles.
