Two men, who were designated by the police as members of the criminal gang led by alias “Carlos Capa” died during a procedure by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in Ocumare del Tuy, Miranda state, early Monday morning, December 3. April.
The police report indicates that officials from Detachment 442, attached to the Third Company, were touring the Rangel community. Suddenly, armed subjects attacked them with shots in the Quebrada de Miguel sector, which led to a confrontation.
During the shooting, aliases “Secundino” and “el Beiker” were killed; while a soldier was injured.

The officials recovered two weapons of war, rifle type, with telescopic sights, with various ammunition.
Through his Twitter account, the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), General in Chief Domingo Hernández Larez, disseminated the case. He pointed out that only the State can possess and use weapons of war.
National Guard agents are still searching for “Carlos Capa”, leader of the gang, as well as its members.
They identified some of the subjects by the aliases of “Piki”, “Maevi”, “Angelito”, “Alfredo”, “Carabali”, “la Fresa” and “Gabo”.
