On April 3, a powerful earthquake occurred in Russia. Its magnitude was 6.9, and the tremors were felt off the coast of Kamchatka.
This is reported by the local Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Currently, operational groups of rescuers and firefighters are inspecting buildings in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vylyuchinsky urban districts and the Elizovsky municipal district.
According to eyewitnesses, during the earthquake, people ran out into the street, demolished cars. Videos of the consequences are circulating on social networks – collapsed tiles and plastic ceilings inside the premises, broken goods that fell from store shelves.
As of morning, there were no reports of casualties or damage.
Recall that earlier in the Trans-Baikal Territory of the Russian Federation, where the steppe fire raged, fiery tornado.
