Anna Ermakova (23), daughter of tennis legend Boris Becker (55), gained greater fame not only through her current participation in the RTL show “Let’s Dance” – but in a way through her conception. To this day, the liaison between Becker and Angela Ermakova (56), known as the “broom closet affair”, from 1999 regularly makes headlines because Becker himself keeps commenting on it. This annoys Angela Ermakova massively – so that she made a clear announcement to her ex-affair.
In the documentary Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker”, which will appear next Friday (April 7th) on the streaming provider Apple TV +, Becker speaks again about that night. “We got together and had sex. I didn’t have Angela’s number, I didn’t have any contact, and that’s it,” he says there about Ermakova.
Angela Ermakova contradicts the portrayal of Boris Becker
A representation that she has vehemently contradicted for 23 years. “Of course he’s known me for a long time. He called me countless times,” Ermakova had already told the “Bunte” in 2003. Even after Becker’s recent statements, she sticks to her version of the story – and becomes even clearer. “I publicly told the truth in my ‘Bunte’ interview – and I stand by my word,” she told the “Bild”.

According to Ermakova, the two have been known for months. “I met Boris back in February, so a few months before that night,” she explained. “He called me many times after that. Also on the day he lost his last Wimbledon game. He wanted to meet me. On June 30, 1999.”
Ermakova: Boris Becker is not a good father for Anna
But she didn’t leave it at that this time: The 56-year-old also sharply criticized Becker in his role as a father. She had recently deliberately stopped responding to his statements, “because I wanted to spare my daughter additional pain. I love her so much. But her father suffers from verbal diarrhea and can’t keep his mouth shut even 23 years after this event,” Ermakova scolded. “If the father sells a story like this over and over again, he’s selling his soul.”

Ermakova has already tried to explain this to Becker privately, but “I think I have to do it publicly too. To make him think about the karma he attracts when he behaves like this,” she clarified, “It is not the behavior of a loving father that he pretends to be, nor that of a man with any dignity left .”
