Juris Hiršs lives in the countryside and hunts in the nearby area. “Once, I went with a friend about an engine, and I liked it. The actor admits that he does not always want to talk about his occupation, because he has observed an exaggerated contemptuous and sometimes even hostile attitude of “green-minded people” towards hunters. “Many people do not understand what a hunter does. They think they are destroying a living creature, although the truth is different. Hunters shoot sick animals and those that are weaker so that the stronger ones can reproduce in nature. For example, nobody shoots deer with very beautiful horns. Horns animals are an important indicator. And it is important that those with deformed horns do not reproduce,” says the actor, adding that hunters also invest a lot of money to feed the animals in winter.
