“Opposition Launches Citizen Evaluation Mission to Assess High Schools in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region”

“Faced with the lack of transparency of the regional executive of Laurent Wauquiez and the refusal to answer questions from the opposition on the state of high schools in the region”the opposition intends to form its own opinion.

The PS, EELV, rebellious and communist groups and PRG are joining forces to carry out a mission of information and citizen evaluation of the establishments of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

The elected officials, led by Fabienne Grébert and Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, must thus meet high school students, parents of students as well as members of the educational community to draw up a map of what works and what is missing in the high schools of the region.

Testimonials can also be posted anonymously on a Civocracy platform. A communication campaign, in particular on social networks such as TikTok, is planned.

The work should last until the end of classes in June, then the report will be revealed next fall. The document will be given to the LR president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.

“Laurent Wauquiez proudly announces that no high school is in poor condition in our region. It’s a lie, feedback from the field proves that there are still high schools where study and work conditions are not acceptable”reacts Guillaume Lacroix, president of the PRG group.

Maxime Meyer, co-president of the environmental group, hopes that this mission can “demonstrate factually that, contrary to what Laurent Wauquiez asserts, there are still high schools in poor condition”.
