Starting today, Amtrak is resuming train service between New York City and Montreal in Canada via the Adirondack service.
The first northbound train leaves Moynihan Train Hall in New York Penn Station at 8:41 am this morning and will arrive at Canada Central Station in Montreal at 8:16 pm.
This link between New York and Canada had been suspended three years ago.
Travelers on this line can expect the same amenities as on most Amtrak trains, including free Wi-Fi, the freedom to use phones and electronic devices, the ability to travel with small pets within the United States, and more. .
