On Monday morning, the traffic headed towards Cilandak on TB Simatupang was heavily congested.

Jakarta

Traffic on Jalan TB Simatupang heading to Cilandak, South Jakarta and the other way around was reported congested. The congestion was due to the dense volume of passing vehicles.

“The information is more precise on Jalan TB Simatupang which goes straight to Cilandak and also from the direction of Cilandak. The information is that traffic is currently monitored,” said the NTMC Polri call center officer, Widia when contacted, Monday (3/4/2023).

In addition, traffic jams also occur on Jl Raya Fatmawati and Jl Intan Ujung Cilandak. The congestion also occurs due to the dense volume of vehicles.

“Traffic is still observed to be stagnant on Jalan Raya Fatmawati, there has been an increase in vehicles. So indeed the volume of vehicles from the direction of Fatmawati is dense and vice versa,” he said.

“Currently the information is due to an increase in traffic volume,” he said.

Meanwhile, a resident named Chairunisa admitted that she was stuck in a traffic jam on the road around Fatmawati. He admitted that he was stuck in traffic jams at a number of intersection points or red lights around Fatmawati.

“From the direction of Fatmawati it didn’t work, I don’t know why, but from all directions the crossroads were all stuck,” said Chairunisa, when contacted separately.

“But I think it’s from Lebak Bulus because if you don’t go to Road 1 when the green light is all stuck,” he said.
