In the Zavodskoy district of Minsk, traffic police officers detained a drunk driver, according to Telegram channel GAI of the capital.
It is specified that inspectors stopped a Volvo car on Svislochskaya Street. Behind the wheel was a 58-year-old man with obvious signs of intoxication. The driver was taken for a medical examination, the results of which revealed 1.72 ppm of alcohol in his body.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that drunk driving is subject to a fine of up to 200 basic units (now – up to 7.4 thousand rubles) with deprivation of the right to drive up to 5 years. For a repeated violation during the year, the driver faces criminal liability with confiscation of the vehicle.
