HOSUTON.- Lamont Butler has become the hero of San Diego basketball by scoring a basket at the last second to give him the pass to the final of the NCAA Championship in this season that will go down in history.
The San Diego State Aztecs defeated Florida Atlantic by a score of 72-71 in a game where they were down by up to 15 points, but resilience remains a characteristic point of the Aztecs who pushed again at the end and achieved their go to the championship game.
Matt Bradley and Jaedon LeDee were the scoring leaders, Bradley with 20 points and LeDee with 12. But it was that basket in the paint at timeout that allowed San Diego to put its name on a historic game.
The final will be against UConn or Miami that will play in a few minutes.
