Plan school life
Within the school, the CPE oversees the organization and smooth running of community life outside of class time.
He manages student absences, monitors entries and exits, enforces internal rules and safety instructions (especially during recess, lunch breaks and between lessons).
It is to him that the students turn in the event of a problem (absence, delay, exclusion, illness, theft, fight, change of section, etc.).
A mediator
The CPE works together with the teachers, the headteacher, the PsyEN (National Education psychologist) and the social worker to offer students the best conditions for success. He regularly takes stock with his colleagues to find solutions adapted to young people in difficulty.
A true mediator between students, their families and the administration, he favors dialogue in order to improve life within the establishment.

The CPE ensures the proper functioning of the home and trains the class representatives for the high school life council. It creates a dynamic in order to promote the expression and the emergence of ideas. It encourages initiatives and facilitates their implementation.
