Disney is downsizing their company. One of those affected is Marvel Entertainment, a division that deals with Marvel products and consumer goods. Marvel Entertainment boss Isaac Ike Perlmutter has now officially been fired by Disney.
The New York Times reported that Isaac Ike Perlmutter was laid off due to Disney’s intention to merge Marvel Entertainment into its existing division. Marvel Entertainment was felt as a double division so it needed to be streamlined. The firing of Isaac Ike Perlmutter has nothing to do with anything Marvel Studios is currently working on. Given that the two divisions play different roles.

1. Save Marvel from bankruptcy
Isaac Ike Perlmutter is known as a reliable businessman. Thanks to him, Marvel was able to escape bankruptcy in 1997.
