Today the traditional amusement park has opened the season Luna Park en Coney Island.
For months, the crew has been assembling the rides, testing the rides, and performing safety checks to make sure every nut and bolt is in place.
This week the final inspections have been done before the first users arrive.

This year there will be some new attractions like Leti’s Treasure Trunk Smoke and Tony’s Express. Both are water coasters named after the Luna Park owner’s Italian grandparents.
Also debuting for opening day is a new food and beverage concession area that includes a new sports bar.
Celebrating 120 years since Coney Island Luna Park’s original inception in 1903, opening weekend will culminate with Coney Island Cyclone Egg Cream Giving Day and Christening on Sunday, April 2. Luna Park in the season opening announcement.
The City also posted a message on social media about the attraction’s opening asking attendees to submit photos.

Due to the expansion of the amusement park, Luna Park is looking for more workers and it does so through job fairs organized on Fridays.
