JawaPos.com – Xiaomi has released an affordable smartphone, namely the Redmi Note 12 Pro Series. The highest class of this series is the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is a mid-range class cellphone, aka middle class, but comes with flagship specifications.

For example, in terms of the chipset or processor, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, which is positioned as the most superior variant, comes with more qualified specifications as well. The chipset relies on the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC with a 6 nm fabrication.
This chipset is then combined with a single storage combination, namely 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. Meanwhile, the storage media is UFS 2.2 (storage) and has a size of 256 GB. The RAM can also be expanded up to 13 GB with virtual RAM.
For fun photography needs, on the back of the device there is a three-camera set-up, namely a 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX 766, f1/1.88), an 8 MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2), and a 2 MP macro camera (f/2.4) ). Meanwhile, the selfie camera is 16 MP.
The main camera of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has also been assisted with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology. Besides being claimed to be able to produce clearer images, OIS technology can generally make images more stable when used to take videos.

Turning to software, this midrange smartphone runs the Android 13 operating system (OS) which is polished with the MIUI 14 interface (UI). Other supporting features include 5G connectivity, side fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, dual speakers, Dolby Atmos , Dual 5G without a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack and was launched on the market at a price of IDR 4 million.
