The Association of voluntary blood donors of St-Saturnin/Jonquerettes chaired by Marino Tinelli continues its interventions with schools, and this, given the positive results of the AMC (Action en Milieu Scolaire) at the Jean Moulin school for two CM2 classes (56 students) in November 2022.

Recently, the Amicale went to St-Joseph school in the CM2 classes of Jocelyne Quenehen and CM1 of Françoise Penaguin for an awareness of blood donation. Michelle Coulet and Daniel Foucault from Vedène accompanied by Marino Tinelli, Gérard Plet and Christine Lascols from the Amicale made a projection on the general presentation of the donation, then everyone received a booklet, a comic strip, the departmental newspaper, pen. Many questions were asked by the students who were attentive and very attentive. The children were given a role of sponsor within their family and encouraged their parents to donate blood. Note that 10,000 bags per day are needed in France.

The Amicale also plans to raise awareness among young people who have reached their majority in 2021 and 2022. This concerns around 140 young people for St-Saturnin and the Amicale has personally invited them to collections in the hope of having more new donors. potentials.
