Accordingly, the necessary health care for the beneficiaries will be purchased or financed through the national health insurance or the private health insurance, and the program has determined the beneficiaries of the national health insurance and they are citizens if they are not covered by special health care systems, programs or services provided to them by the agencies they work for in accordance with the provisions of this. The system or a decision of the Council of Ministers, citizens working in the public and private sectors, their family members, children of a Saudi mother from a non-Saudi husband residing in the Kingdom, a non-Saudi wife married to a Saudi man, a non-Saudi married to a Saudi woman residing in the Kingdom, and non-Saudis working in government sectors; If they are not covered by other special systems, programs or services.
Residents who are covered by a work sponsorship or without a work sponsorship, as well as holders of privileged residency, citizens working in the private sector, and citizens working in the public sector and covered by private health insurance in accordance with the regulations and regulations of their employers and who are coming to the Kingdom for the purpose of visiting, tourism, Hajj or Umrah, also benefit from private health insurance. The period of their stay shall cover, except for what is excluded by a decision of the Council of Ministers.
Residence permits of all kinds may not be granted to non-Saudis except after obtaining a private health insurance policy that covers the period of their stay.
