The driver of an e-scooter was picked up by the police in Döbeln. The vehicle was not insured.

Döbeln. Officials from the Döbeln police station noticed an e-scooter around 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday that had no insurance license plate attached.
They then stopped the e-scooter on Franz-mehring-Strasse and checked it and its driver (40). A breath alcohol test carried out on the man in this context showed a value of 0.66 per thousand.
Reports were thus made against the German for violating the Compulsory Insurance Act and the 0.5 alcohol limit. In addition, the 40-year-old had to pay 100 euros. There was an arrest warrant against him, which he was able to avert by making the appropriate payment.
