WASHINGTON, March 31 (Reuters) – The United States plans to give Ukraine a further $2.6 billion (2.4 billion euros) in military aid, U.S. officials said on Friday. indicated that this aid could be announced as early as Monday.
The full list of equipment that will be included in this new aid will be completed this weekend, officials said, adding that the amount of aid was subject to change.
The aid, which includes ammunition in particular, should also enable Kyiv to prepare for its spring offensive against Russian forces.
The United States has now committed more than $30 billion in aid to Ukraine since the start of the war.
