Sergey Lazarev
Sergey Lazarev consciously embarked on the path of a single parent at the age of “over 30”. “At some point, I realized that I was ready to become a father,” says the two-time Eurovision winner. He moved to action. Today, the eldest Nikita is eight, and the youngest Anya is in her fifth year. Sergey himself celebrates his 40th birthday on April 1.
“In fact, we stayed with my mother alone”
Sergey himself has a very difficult family history. His father was a prominent man. He played the guitar and sang excellently, was the soloist of the ensemble, which performed at dances in the House of Culture. Lazarev Sr. received his higher education at the Aviation Institute. There he met the mother of the future star of the domestic show business.
We got married in the 1970s. The eldest son Pavel was born, five years later, the younger Sergei. And soon the parents divorced. Mom alone pulled two sons.
“When my father left, he took all the cash from the house, there was a large amount, he left us without money,” the singer shared. His relationship with his parent has never, by and large, stuck together.
Lazarev Sr. died in 2017. “Dad is the one who raised and cared for,” Sergey believes. He hid from his father that his grandson was born, and did not show the baby.
Even earlier, Lazarev lost his older brother. Pavel grew up as a talented guy – he was a member of the ensemble. Vladimir Loktev, but one day, alas, he turned onto a crooked path. I got in touch with a bad company, even at school I had drives to the police. In 2010, he was imprisoned for four years for possession of illegal substances.
He vowed to give up crime. And in 2015, tragedy struck. Pavel got into a car accident, but refused hospitalization. Complications arose, and the doctors could no longer help. Blood poisoning began, there was a hemorrhage in the brain.
Sergey said: “It was, of course, a blow for all of us. There were black stripes in his biography, but Pasha managed to straighten everything out. Two years later, day to day with Pasha, dad dies. In fact, we were left with my mother alone. ”

Lazarev does not hide the fact that Nikita and Anya were born to him by a surrogate mother. Speculation about the one who became an egg donor, fans and haters are still building. “Anna and Nikita are only my children. It is important to want children, and the method is a secondary issue, ”Sergey emphasizes. He clearly does not intend to ruin the intrigue.

“Everything made sense”
This is what Sergei now says and adds: “I understand why I live and work.” Despite being busy, Lazarev finds time to get up to his heirs at night and read fairy tales to them.
“The main thing is that children grow up in love. How many of these allegedly full-fledged families in which no one needs children? Mom is a drinker, dad left, ”the singer asks.
His eldest son is already in elementary school, demonstrating excellent reading, numeracy and writing skills. Both Nikita and Anya also show a penchant for creativity.
Both, growing up, become more and more like a famous dad. And he assures: “My children, of course, know the word“ no ”. And I don’t buy mountains of new toys for them. On the contrary, I teach to appreciate things, I constantly talk with them on the topic.
The bitterness of the loss of Pavel to Sergey and his mother is softened by Alina. That is the name of the daughter of Lazarev’s older brother. Today, Alina is already 19. As a teenager, she became a soloist of the well-known band “Fidgets” – she is also not deprived of talent.
