Gastro veteran Thomas Wolf is leaving, the manager of the casino theater is following suit
Beat Imhof is the name of the new president of the regional gastro association. In this role he really wants to step on the gas.
Wahl The aperitif is ready in the hallway of the casino theater – a home game for Beat Imhof. He is the manager of the casino theater. Imhof and Alex Bindig, innkeeper from Trübli, were proposed to the general assembly of Gastro Winterthur as replacements for the three people who are leaving the board. Without resistance, the club accepted both with applause. The third position remains vacant. Imhof was proposed and accepted as President at the same time. He replaces the previous Thomas Wolf. This face was also known from Parliament. Now he steps back: “I’m no longer an active host. But as president, you should deal with the active problems.” Imhof would like to focus in the new office on the shortage of skilled workers and the cohesion of the industry: “Now I can step on the gas. We have challenges that we have rarely had before.” You can expect a sympathetic ear from him. Everyone in the industry is required. The economic pressure is great. Wolf knows his way around difficult times – he remembers the corona pandemic. But he can leave with good memories: “I was delighted by the enthusiasm of many people. We had a lot of encouragement for our work.”
