A report on African wealth, by the global citizenship and residency consulting firm Henley and Partners, revealed that Marrakesh is among the most attractive tourist cities for the wealthy of the African continent over the past ten years.
In the same context, the report, which was completed in cooperation with New World Wealth, showed that the number of wealthy people in Morocco amounted to approximately 5,800 millionaires, which is equivalent to 56 percent of the wealthy in the African continent.
According to the same report, the Kingdom is among the first 5 countries to include the wealthy of Africa, along with South Africa with 37,800 people whose wealth exceeds one million dollars, Egypt with 16,000 people, Nigeria with 9,800 people, and Kenya with 7,700 people.
According to the same report, 5,800 people whose wealth exceeds one million dollars, or about one billion centimeters, and 28 people whose wealth exceeds $100 million, or more than 100 billion centimeters, and four people whose wealth exceeds one billion dollars.
