An official source in the Saudi Public Health Authority, “Prevention”, recommended avoiding traveling to two countries in Africa.
This comes after the health authorities in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the United Republic of Tanzania announced that they had detected an outbreak of Marburg virus disease.
Weqaya recommended avoiding traveling to the two countries until the disease is under control, and advised those present there to follow the preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health and the Public Health Authority, and to follow the instructions of the local health authorities.
