Sad news hit Slovakia. Actor Vladimír Obšil, a longtime member of the Slovak National Theater (SND), has died. He was fighting an insidious disease.
The acting scene mourns the Slovak actor Vladimír Obšil. The theater legend succumbed to Parkinson’s disease, the actor was 65 years old.

Obšil was born in Prachatice, Czech Republic. But he grew up in Bratislava, where he graduated from the University of Performing Arts in 1981. Since then, he has been a member of the Drama Theater of the SND, where he has played countless roles, writing theater in his own way website.
The first as a university student in the play Azure Horses on the Red Grass, later for example in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Miser or Caligula.
He also acted in a number of films and series. The most famous ones include The Greasy Pot, The Stolen White Elephant, Apricot Jam or The Man with Bunny Ears.
